Two of our Advanced Higher pupils will deliver a Pecha Kucha presentation on Thursday 20th November at the William Patrick Library.  Aimee Dallas and Rhianne Forrest s6 have been involved in a project working with visiting artists and along with representatives from 3 other EDC schools will present their Pecha Kucha which is a fast paced presentation of 20 slides each lasting 20 seconds about their own work.  Please come along and support the girls.

S3 Expressive Arts IDL

On Wednesday 5th November all S3 pupils participated in an Expressive Arts inter disciplinary Learning event which allowed the pupils to make connections in their learning across Music, Art and design and Drama.  Pupils worked in small teams of 10 and were asked to create a musical, dramatic and artistic response to 'Fear'.  Pupils worked extremely well throughout the day developing social skills and improving their subject specific skills in collaboration with other pupils.  All pupils presented their work to each other at the end of the day and there were some fantastic ideas and creative response.  Well done to all involved.
