Astronomy Club

Do you gaze at the night sky in wonderment? Can you tell your reflectors from your refractors? Or your asteroids from your asterisms?

Well, if you’d like to discover more about the universe in which we live, be let loose on hundreds of pounds of astronomical kit, try some astrophotography, organise and attend “star parties” and go on trips to planetariums and observatories, then the Kirkintilloch High School Astronomy Club (KHSAS) is for you! Additionally, all members receive a monthly newsletter advising them of what to look out for in the night sky each month.

The KHSAS meet during term time on the 1st Wednesday of every month 1-1.20pm in room S027. Even if you have a passing interest in the night sky and would like to know more, please come along.

We look forward to seeing you there!
