The Parent Council aims to ensure the best possible outcomes for every pupil, as well as to promote and protect the reputation of our school.

We represent the opinions of all parents and carers and we work closely with the school senior management team, the education authority and beyond to achieve our aims.

The Parent Council are consulted on a wide range of subjects, including staffing, budgets and curriculum, to name just a few, to ensure that parents and carers have a voice in matters that affect our children’s education.

If there’s ever an issue you think the Parent Council should look at, then please get in touch!

We are looking for parents to join us! Are you passionate about your child’s education, and would you like the chance to contribute to our school? Then we want to hear from you!

We meet just 6 to 8 times a year, for a 60 to 90 minute meeting, normally on a Thursday evening. Our meetings include the Head Teacher, members of the Senior Management Team, Pupil Voice representatives and local councillors. What better way to have a direct impact on our young people’s futures!

Get in touch, any time, by email, phone call or text - I’d love to hear from you.
