The School Uniform at Kirkintilloch High has been chosen to be smart, economical and easily available locally.

School Uniform
  • Black trousers or skirt
  • White shirt (not poloshirt) and school tie
  • Plain (unpatterned) black, V-neck pullover or cardigan (so that the school tie is always visible)
  • Plain black school branded hoodie
  • Black shoes
  • Black blazer
  • In cold weather, plain black outdoor jacket
P.E. Kit
What is the recommended kit Encouraged to avoid
Sports t-shirt (Kirkintilloch t-shirt would be best) Football colours
Shorts or tracksuit trousers Any form of school uniform (shirt, trousers, skirts etc.)
Suitable footwear – trainers/football boots (if outside on astroturf or grass) Inappropriate footwear for movement or games

 

Clothing Grants

If you are on a low income or in receipt of certain benefits you may be eligible for help towards the cost of school uniform.

A new combined online application form for free school meals, free nursery meals and school clothing grants was launched in July 2020.
